Single Family Homes - VILLAS
Villas are available mainly for rent. The law does not allow for a purchase of a single villa; you have to purchase the whole compound (gated community) under a local corporation. Villas and apartments are fully rented and it is a challenge to find any available at all. It looks like the situation will not improve any time soon. You can buy an apartment or a single villa if it's not a part of a compound and is located in designated freehold area where anybody can buy and sell as in the US.
There are many different styles of homes, from traditional as shown below to modern to Moroccan style with swimming pools or with a single pool shared by the entire compound.
